Mary McCormack, M.M. Performer, Educator, Author is director and founder of Alabaster Youth Division, Alabaster Films
and Alabaster Performing Arts. She holds a Master’s degree in Music
from Duquesne University, a Bachelor of Music Education degree from
Seton Hill University and has done graduate work at Indiana University
School of Music, Bloomington, IN.
Mary has been a guest of CBS Nightly News, Rwanda Embassy,
Washington D.C., American Embassy in Honduras, Metropolitan Opera
House, NYC, Perdue University, West Virginia University and many
theatres, churches and festivals across the United States.
Author of Building a Rainbow: Bullying Prevention in Our Schools and Communities, Mary has presented motivational assemblies in Greensburg-Salem, Hempfield, Latrobe, Yough, Norwin, Franklin-Regional, Pittsburgh and many other school districts across the eastern U.S. and in the dioceses of Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Altoona-Johnstown, Cleveland, Miami-Dade, Denver and beyond. Mary has toured internationally, performing musical styles from Broadway to Jazz. She has taught thousands of children, teens and adults, presenting programs at drug & alcohol rehab. centers and state and federal prisons. She has written and produced many films, plays, musicals and books. “I love performing and teaching both children and adults!” she says. Mary holds current FBI, State and Child Abuse Clearances.
