Brass – Richard Beatty

Richard Beatty grew up in Westmoreland county. Has been playing brass instruments for 40

years. Attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania for his Bachelor’s degree in Music

Education and Euphonium Performance. Attended Duquesne University for Post Graduate

Credits in Music Technology. Taught in public school districts in South Carolina and

Pennsylvania. Is currently in the Delmont Area Concert band as a playing member and assistant

director.
